Fees & Appointments

A counselling session is for 1 hour on an appointment by appointment basis, usually weekly in the beginning.

Each session costs £50 per hour.  This fee includes the 1 hour spent with the client as well as time spent outside the session for preparation and taking notes.

Please note: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancelling sessions otherwise the full fee is payable.

“I wish I’d come earlier” is a common phrase I hear. If you’re nervous or unsure about whether counselling/ psychotherapy is for you I do offer a free, no strings-attached, initial meeting – see below.

I offer an initial meeting of 30 minutes, free of charge, so that both the client and I can decide together if this is the right choice for them; provide an opportunity for the client to ask any questions or voice any concerns; and to ensure that both parties feel comfortable working together.

I offer counselling via Zoom and Skype as well as face to face at my private practice in Derby.

Fees & Appointments

Each session costs £70 per hour.  This fee includes the 1 hour spent with the couple as well as time spent outside the session for preparation and taking notes.

I offer an initial meeting of 45 minutes, free of charge, so that the couple and I can decide together if this is the right choice for them; provide an opportunity for them to ask any questions or voice any concerns; and to ensure that all parties feel comfortable working together.

Availability

Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 7pm (last appointment slot is 6pm).

National & International Clients

As well as working with clients locally I also offer a remote service using Zoom or Skype for those of you who are farther afield.

Location

My practice is in Alvaston, Derby, England which is easily accessible from the A50, A52 and M1 and within easy reach if travelling from Nottingham, Long Eaton, Leicestershire, Burton-on-Trent as well as Derby and Derbyshire.

My therapy room is on the ground floor in a confidential setting.

There is parking available on the drive and on the road. My practice is within easy walking distance from a regular and frequent bus service.
